Solana memecoin glossary
Plain-English definitions for the terms you’ll see across Pump.fun, Bonk, LaunchLab, Bags, Printr, and the rest of the Solana launch stack.
- Aged walletA Solana wallet that has been active or held for 24+ hours, used to avoid the "brand-new wallet" stigma at launch.
- Anti-sniperTechniques and tooling that prevent external snipers from front-running a token launch.
- Auto take-profit (AutoTP)Automated rules that sell a token when it hits a target market cap, ROI, or absolute SOL profit.
- Bags (Meteora DBC)A Solana launch venue using Meteora's Dynamic Bonding Curve (DBC) pool format with configurable fee shares.
- Bonding curveA mathematical price curve that automatically adjusts a token's price as supply is bought and sold from a smart contract.
- Bonk Classic (Letsbonk.fun)A Solana bonding-curve launch venue similar to Pump.fun, run by the BONK community.
- Bundled launchA token launch where the create transaction and several buy transactions execute atomically together, filling the deployer's wallets first.
- BundlerA tool that packs token creation plus multiple buy instructions into a single atomic transaction (or Jito bundle) so they all execute together.
- Dev buyThe deployer's initial purchase of their own token in the same transaction (or bundle) as the token creation.
- GraduationThe moment a bonding-curve token fills its curve and migrates to a standard AMM pool (e.g. Raydium).
- Holder boostA task that increases a token's unique holder count by distributing small balances to many distinct addresses.
- Jito bundleA group of up to 5 Solana transactions that Jito's block engine attempts to land atomically in the same slot.
- Jito tipA SOL payment included in a Jito bundle that goes to the Jito validator that lands the bundle.
- Raydium LaunchLabRaydium's own configurable token launch platform with customizable curve parameters and fee tiers.
- Market capA token's total value: circulating supply multiplied by current price.
- MEV (Maximal Extractable Value)Value that block producers can extract by reordering, inserting, or omitting transactions within a block.
- Mint keypairThe Solana keypair whose public key becomes the token's mint address — generated before launch and consumed by the create instruction.
- PrintrA partner launch API that produces a Meteora DBC pool. Requires a mandatory dev buy and uses Token-2022.
- Priority feeA per-compute-unit fee added to a Solana transaction to incentivize validators to include it sooner.
- Pump.funThe dominant Solana fair-launch platform using a bonding curve. Tokens graduate to Raydium once the curve fills.
- ROI (Return on Investment)A token trade's profit relative to its cost basis, usually expressed as a multiple (e.g. 5×) or percentage.
- Sniper botAn automated bot that watches Solana for new token mints and tries to buy them in the very first block after launch.
- SPL TokenThe original Solana fungible-token program. Most legacy tokens (USDC, BONK, etc.) use this standard.
- Token-2022The newer Solana token standard that extends the original SPL Token program with features like transfer hooks, metadata extensions, and confidential transfers.
- View boostA task that drives chart views on aggregators like DexScreener, with intensity that auto-adjusts based on the token's market cap.
- Volume botA program that generates buy/sell volume on a token by rotating trades across many wallets.
- Wallet warmupPre-launch trading activity that gives fresh wallets a credible history so they don't look brand-new at launch time.
