Launch Guide
A complete guide to launching your token on Vortex. Follow these steps from start to finish to successfully deploy your project.
Metadata
Click "+ Create Project" from the Projects page to open the creation wizard. In Step 1: Metadata, you'll set up your token's information:
- Token Name - Your token's full name (e.g., "My Awesome Token")
- Token Symbol - A short ticker (e.g., "MAT")
- Description - Tell users what your token is about
- Token Image - Upload a logo (512x512 recommended)
- Social Links - Add Twitter, Telegram, and website URLs (optional)
You'll also select the Token Mode:
Once complete, click "Next" to continue.
Wallets & Buy
In Step 2: Wallet Setup, you'll add wallets for your project.
Adding a Developer Wallet
Click "+Dev" to add your developer wallet. You have three options:
- Create New - Generate a new developer wallet
- Import Private Key - Import an existing wallet using its private key
- Assign Existing - Promote one of your existing wallets to developer
Create Wallets
Click "Create" to generate new wallets. You can create multiple at once.
Import Wallets
Click "Import" to add existing wallets by pasting private keys (one per line).
Import from Global Wallets
Click "Global" to import wallets or entire groups from your Global Wallets.
Setting Buy Amounts
For each wallet, you'll see a "Buy Amount" input field. This is how much SOL that wallet will spend when buying the token.
- Click inside the input field and enter the amount in SOL
- Use the "Max" button next to each wallet to auto-fill with the maximum available balance (minus gas fees)
- Use the "Use All" button at the top to select all wallets and set max amounts at once
Once wallets are created/imported, click "Continue".
Fund Wallets
After creating your wallets and setting buy amounts, you need to fund them with SOL so they can execute buys. Click the "Fund" button to start the funding process.
Funding Method
Select "Vortex Disperse" for direct, instant funding to your wallets. The Mixer method (enhanced privacy) is coming soon.
1. Select Wallets to Fund
Choose which wallets you want to fund. You can select individual wallets or click "Select All" to fund all wallets at once.
2. Enter Total Amount
Input the total SOL amount you want to distribute across the selected wallets.
3. Choose Distribution Mode
Select how you want to distribute the SOL:
- Equal - Same amount to each wallet
- Custom - Set specific amounts for each wallet
- Variation - Random amounts within a percentage range (e.g., ±10%)
4. Review & Send Funds
Click "Fund Wallets" to generate a temporary wallet address. Review the distribution breakdown showing exactly how much SOL each wallet will receive. Copy the wallet address and manually send the amount of SOL from your wallet.
Important: Save the temporary private key that's displayed - you can use it to recover funds if any issues occur during the disperse.
Tip: For best results, fund your developer wallet separately from your other wallets.
Once the transaction is complete, wallet balances will automatically refresh. Click "Continue" to proceed.
Buy Mode
In Step 4: Buy Mode, choose how your token will execute buys after launch:
Snipe
Fast automated wallet snipes after token launch. Perfect for quick entries.
Bundle
Bundle multiple wallet buys in the same block for simultaneous execution.
Launch + Bundle + Snipe
Combine both methods - select specific wallets for bundling and others for sniping.
Dev Buy Only
Launch with only the developer buy, no automated wallet buys.
Select your buy mode and click "Continue".
Select Wallets (If Applicable)
Depending on your chosen buy mode, you may need to select which wallets participate in specific tasks:
- Bundle Mode - Select up to 12 wallets for bundled buys
- Snipe Mode - Select wallets for sniping and set delay intervals (if any)
- Launch + Bundle + Snipe - You'll go through two selection steps: first for bundle wallets (up to 12), then for snipe wallets
If you selected Dev Buy Only, this step is skipped and you proceed directly to the overview.
Overview & Deploy
In the final step, you'll see a complete summary of your project:
- Token name, symbol, and metadata
- All configured wallets and their buy amounts
- Selected buy mode and wallet assignments
- Total SOL allocated for buys
Review everything carefully, then click "Launch Token" to deploy your project.
Once launched, you'll be redirected to the Swap Manager where you can monitor your token's performance, manage wallet positions, and execute buys/sells in real-time.
